Year Two: Digital Media Exam
Identity Theft Video Idea
Video starts with low key lighting, victim looks up on a side close up, multiple camera angles surround the victim on the 180 degree angle.
" So tell us Ethan, How were you affected by Identity Fraud?"
The camera focuses on his Face.
Well it started almost a year ago when i got an email from my bank, They said that they needed to change some security questions to strenghten my account to prevent any further frauds or any other risks, they said i could contact the bank with a number they had sent in, or i could get it done much quicker with a link to the website. But this was a double bluff, this wasnt from my bank. It all seemed legitemite.
( Whilst this dialogue is said, a man in a mask is on a laptop in a 180 degree shot)
The website i was sent to looked like the real thing. By the time i had sent in my details, multiple withdrawls were taken from my account, leaving me almost with nothing.
" What can you say to the people out there to prevent anything like this happening?"
" Never send your details to a bank unless you have contacted them, as real as it seems, that is exactly what they want you to think. It goes back to the age old answer, Its always better to be safe than sorry"
"Thank you for your time"
Cuts to an image of a poster to the company with a website and phone number.
"If you have or believe you have been effected by Identity Fraud, or simpily want to find ways to prevent it. Please visit our website at (insert website) or call our number at (insert number). Thank you!
